Maltese Knight

Hope you Electronic Sketchbook-ers are well, haven't seen any of your artworks lately here, so I decided to send one of my knights for you - he will bring you to my palace in no time and you'll have to give me a good reason why you haven't posted any art!

haha! Hope you like it. :)

No Maltese Cross Version

    Hahah, epic palace it must be then Luca! As I said on FB this is a fantastic piece, loving it to bits. However may I suggest to blend the Maltese Cross with the picture more next time. A dropflag with the symbol in the background or even defined it with the background wall would have been enough, because at it is it robs the focus off the knight. As I said before though, that armor is very lovely!

    Also hah, I post mine on FB most of the time...and I've been only sketching/experimenting! No final solid works yet, got to get used to colors properly before anything else. :D

    I agree with Audrey, beautiful rendering and lighting, I think removing the glow from the cross will do the trick ;) I am currently working on an album artwork for a Maltese musician, Melchior Sultana - will post the final version shortly
